And I wonder, if we thought about it, are we really willing to take a chance with our lives to get to work a couple of seconds sooner – and if our company was a person would it do the same for us?

I was struck with the thought standing at the counter whilst buying my lottery ticket. I looked over the counter at the rows of Cigarettes on sale and it came to me that companies just like us suffer from bad habits. We have reminders (see the person with amputations on a pack of smokes) to us that we should consider our bad habits, what do companies have? Who tells companies to break the unhealthy habits, and like humans are they just as hard to break?

several years ago, probably like most it was an enjoyable read but shortly after reading I forgot all about the teachings of Tim Ferris. That is until things starting getting crazy busy and I was getting behind on basic business tasks. Enter GetFriday, after a revisit to the Ferris book and a little of my own research I selected GetFriday as my virtual assistant (VA) of choice. I’ll be honest its not been perfect and I’ve learned from my previous poorly described tasks and I’ve had one change of VA, but now we are motoring along and with the use of Dropbox I’m getting through tasks quicker and have more time focusing on what really matters to me.

I do love these drawn presentations and the one below is as good as I’ve seen in describing how best to get involved and use a VA.
